COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland head coach Randy Edsall announced on Thursday that offensive lineman Larry Mazyck signed a national letter of intent and wide receiver Marcus Leak has re-enrolled at the university.

The 6-foot-7, 340-pound Mazyck played last season at Iowa Western Community College, where he helped the Reivers to a No. 2 ranking in the final NJCAA poll and their second consecutive Midwest Football Conference (MFC) title. Mazyck earned NJCAA first team All-America honors and first team MFC honors.

Mazyck is from Washington, D.C., and attended Friendship Collegiate Academy.

Leak withdrew from the university this past summer to return home to North Carolina for personal reasons. In 2012, Leak caught 23 passes for 393 yards and two touchdowns, and averaged 17.1 yards per catch despite missing the final five games of the season with an injury.
