BALTIMORE, Md. - Morgan State University football head coach Lee Hull revealed a 10-member National Letter of Intent signing day class that is loaded with players from the state of Maryland and Washington, D.C.

“Our emphasis on recruiting was to recruit the best players in the state of Maryland and D.C.,” said Hull.  “I feel that this class reflects that nine of the 10 players are from the state of Maryland and D.C.”

The signing class consists of three offensive linemen, three defensive linemen, three linebackers and one wide receiver.

“We recruited based on need this year, and we hit our target,” Hull added. “Offensive and defensive linemen were our biggest needs and we signed three at both positions.”

Hull also emphasized his commitment to recruiting student-athletes who not only have a responsibility to on-field success, but also off-field priorities.

“We want to recruit the best student-athletes possible and this class reflects that. This class is academically sound and will be leaders in the classroom.”
