Morgan State to introduce Maryland assistant Hull as new head coach

After spending the last six seasons as a valuable assistant for University of Maryland football, Lee Hull will be introduced as the new head football coach at Morgan State on Thursday.

The wide receivers coach and talented recruiter will be replacing Donald Hill-Eley, whose contract expired after the 44-year-old coach went 59-76 in his 12 seasons with the Bears. Morgan State finished 5-7 overall and 5-3 in the MEAC this past season.

Hull, 48, was the last holdover remaining on the Maryland coaching staff after former head coach Ralph Friedgen was dismissed at the end of the 2010 season. He is the second Terps assistant to receive a head-coaching position this offseason as defensive line coach Greg Gattuso became the new head man at Albany.

Morgan State will introduce Hull on Thursday morning.
