Navy Football Game At Temple To Kick At 1:00 PM And Will Be Broadcast On ESPN3
ANNAPOLIS, Md.–The American Athletic Conference and Temple University announced today that Navy’s football game at Temple on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Lincoln Financial Field will kick at 1 PM and will be broadcast on ESPN3.  Navy is 11-0 all-time at Lincoln Financial Field (10-0 against Army, 1-0 against Temple) and with the addition of the Temple game all 12 of Navy’s regular season football games will be broadcast on either CBS, CBS Sports Network, ESPNEWS or ESPN3.  Including this year, Navy will have had 93-consecutive football games broadcast on either a major network or ESPN3.  The last Navy football game not to be broadcast was in 2007, when Navy defeated North Texas 74-62 in the highest scoring regulation football game in FBS history.
The Navy football team finished the 2013 campaign with a 9-4 record, won the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy for the ninth time in the last 11 years, qualified for a bowl game for the 10th time in the last 11 years, won a bowl game for just the eighth time in school history and defeated Army for a series-record 12th-consecutive year. The 2013 team is just the fifth in Navy’s 132-year history of playing football to win at least nine games in a season, beat Army and win a bowl game joining the 1957, 1978, 2004 and 2009 squads.

Navy kicks off the 2014 campaign on August 30th against national title contender Ohio State. The team reports for camp onWednesday, July 30, the first practice is Thursday, July 31 and Media Day/Fan Fest is Saturday, August 2.
