It’s not about the fact that Terrell Suggs is playing by the rules. I’m well aware that Terrell Suggs hasn’t signed a contract yet; and can’t be fined for not showing up. But I also know that if Terrell REALLY wants a big deal from the Ravens; he should be in here to show that he’s ready to get it. Especially with a new Head Coach and a team that is trying to move in a new direction; there’s no room for someone to be just ‘playing by the rules.’
Let’s see what everyone else has to say…

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-Here’s the skinny on Ripken-Ogden today for the final spot in the KOBS Final Four. Cal Ripken played 21 seasons in Baltimore; collecting over 3,000 hits; over 400 Home Runs; 19 All-Star appearances; 2 Gold Gloves, 8 Silver Slugger Awards, 2 All-Star Game MVP Awards, the 1982 AL Rookie of the Year Award, a Home Run Derby Title; and a World Series ring in 1983. He also showed up for work 2,632 consecutive times.
-If the number for the arena is 18.500; I’m okay with that. John Moag said the cost of a second deck is great for arenas; so the 17,000 or so number they did at Comcast Center actually makes more and more sense. The building is so badly needed at this point that 16 or 17 would probably be fine with me as well. The downtown location does make the most sense; but a new arena could have helped another area in the city.
-The Orioles REALLY didn’t do enough last night to honor the ’83 team. The pre-game ceremony, the video packages, and the autograph signings are all fine; but the entire night should have been an honor to those guys. They really need to think bigger.
-No DHB on the All-ACC team? That’s fine. He’ll be there at the end. Trust me.
Talk to you tomorrow.
