I really don’t make much of the story that Terrell Owens and Deion Sanders have talked to Ray Lewis and Jerry Jones about a reunion in Dallas.
I really think this story goes this way…..
If the Ravens have decided that ABSOLUTELY want Ray Lewis back; he’s going to be back. While he might not have liked the Ravens’ last offer; I don’t believe he has said “there’s no way I’m going back there.” If the Ravens say to him “Ray, we’re going to keep you; no matter what it takes”; I think he’ll say “okay, let’s get this done.”
But if the Ravens have decided to offer no more than a reasonable market deal for Ray (which is a completely legitimate choice); then the Cowboys are in play.
Ray is clearly going to take the most money offered, no matter where it is. But this starts with the Ravens. It will be their choice first in all of this.
Let’s see what everyone else has to say……

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-Congratulations to SunTrust Athlete of the Morning Wyatt Smith; who scored 28 points last night in a BIG win for John Carroll over Calvert Hall; 81-68.
-There was NO reason Towson should have gone to overtime last night. Pat Kennedy has been struggling to teach his team how to win games. The positive things they did late in building a 3 possession lead started with offensive rebounding; but the negative things included bad 3 point shots too early in the shot clock and missed free throws in the final minute. You just can’t do that and expect to win basketball games. They were fortunate to escape last night.
Talk to you tomorrow.
