4. Mixed Martial Arts: UFC on FX 2-Thiago Alves vs. Martin Kampmann (Friday 9pm from Sydney on FX)

I enjoy watching MMA on FX. I enjoy watching Archer on FX more…

Archer is better than what you watch on television.

3. Soccer: Team USA @ Italy (Wednesday 2:30pm from Genoa, Italy live on ESPN2); MISL Wichita Wings @ Baltimore Blast (Friday 7:35pm 1st Mariner Arena)

So…once again this year the Blast have loosened the standards on the word “celebrity” so much that I’ll be participating in the celebrity halftime game Friday night. I don’t know who else is playing in the thing but if JoJo from Mix 106.5 is back in he’s GOING DOWN for our recent Facebook beef about me calling out Taylor Swift for being completely forgettable.

If I have to steal the ball from one of my own teammates during the game in order to re-create this Cristiano Ronaldo moment I will. It’s the greatest highlight in the history of soccer…

2. College Lacrosse: Johns Hopkins @ Princeton (Friday 5pm from Princeton, NJ live on ESPNU); Mount St. Mary’s @ Towson (Saturday 1pm from Unitas Stadium live on AM1570; Duke @ Maryland (Saturday 1pm Byrd Stadium); Fairfield @ UMBC (Saturday 3pm UMBC Stadium); Bucknell @ Navy (Saturday 12pm Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium); Western New England @ Stevenson (Saturday 7pm Mustang Stadium)

Cue crying Duke kid…

Go Terps.

1. College Basketball: CAA Tournament-Towson vs. Delaware (Friday 2:30pm from Richmond live on AM1570; America East Tournament-UMBC vs. Binghamton (Thursday 6:05pm from Hartford live on; MAAC Tournament-Loyola vs. Niagara/Canisius (Saturday 7:30pm from Springfield, MA live on; Maryland @ North Carolina (Wednesday 7pm from Chapel Hill, NC live on ESPN), Virginia @ Maryland (Sunday 2pm from Comcast Center live on ACC Network-WNUV 54 in Charm City)

So in for a Greyhounds run to the NCAA Tournament. Or really anything that involves a recreation of this photo…

The above photo is the reason the camera was invented. Jimmy Patsos rules. Go Hounds.

Flexing my mic muscles since 1983…
