I am totally receptive to Jason Berken getting tonight’s start for the Orioles. They weren’t going to go with one of the members of the ‘cavalry’, so Berken is as good as any of the other options. In fact, he’s probably more exciting than Pauley or Waters.
Of course, they COULD have just brought up Hernandez, but……you know, why do I even do this?
Let’s see what everyone else has to say….

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-It is very apparent to me that Rachel Alexandra’s connections don’t want to run her in the Belmont. That being said, it is ABSOLUTELY the best thing for horse racing, and I imagine they are getting some pressure to run her. I certainly hope she runs, but would not be surprised at this point if she doesn’t.
Talk to you tomorrow.
