Wednesday Morning’s Crabs and Beer

November 26, 2008 | Glenn Clark

Jimmy Patsos knew what he was doing last night when he decided to double Stephon Curry. That’s a special player and a special circumstance. He won’t do it again this season; even though there are more talented players on his schedule.

The story is that Stephon Curry really didn’t care that he was taken out of the offense. Bob McKillop wanted to do some things to let him get free; but Curry had no ego, and no problem with playing second fiddle. Bob McKillop should have echoed Curry’s sentiments and enjoyed his 30 point win.

Let’s see what everyone else has to say….

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:

-Remember how many of us thought that Willie Anderson’s scouting may have been part of the reason the Ravens beat the Bengals earlier this season? I guess we’ve learned since then that the Ravens are just plain better than the Bengals.

-George Washington 71, UMBC 68 tonight, the Colonials want payback from last year. Michigan State 87, Maryland 70 tomorrow night.
