I’ve had almost 18 hours to digest it; and to be honest……I’m completely numb to it.
Mark Teixeira is a Yankee; and I just couldn’t care less. Seriously.
Would I have been excited to see Teixeira in orange and black? Try overjoyed.
But am I surprised, depressed, angry, or anything like that? Not at all.
I’m just numb to it.
This is what it’s like for me, as an absolutely diehard fan of the Baltimore Orioles. I just can’t be passionate right now. Things will have to change for me to REALLY get angry again.
Count me on the apathy train. Wish he would be in Baltimore, but not even going to bother getting angry about the fact that he’s not. We all knew it was going to end like this.
Let’s see what everyone else has to say….

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-Congratulations to SunTrust Athlete of the Morning Tom Kuegler. Tom got the tech fall to give Bel Air a criteria points upset over John Carroll in the “Battle of Bel Air” wrestling event last night.
-Congratulations to Randy Monroe and the UMBC Retrievers. Winning a game like that is another major step in defining a program. Back to back conference titles is next.
-Ed Reed has had a REMARKABLE season; but Derrick Mason is the Ravens’ MVP.
Talk to you Friday. Have a wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or just a great Thursday.
-G
