This one’s for 30-3 and getting no-hit by a rookie.
This one’s for losses to Ohio U. and American.
This one’s for Monday night in Pittsburgh and Sunday night vs. Indy.
Thank you to the Baltimore Orioles for FINALLY giving me a night where I could yell into the studios across the building, and back to the network in LA about how great of a game my team was putting together. Reality will come around at some point; but I just need these positive feelings after a long year.
Let’s see what everyone else has to say….

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-My Mike Mussina emotions are strange. For as angry as I have been towards his decision to leave the Orioles for the Yankees, I have always known that he made the right decision. I guess you could say that I’m happy he’s never put together a 20 win or Cy Young season; and I’m especially happy he hasn’t won a World Series. But I can’t begrudge the guy-he needed to go to New York when he did. I just wish his numbers would have been better in Baltimore so that he could be another Oriole in the Hall of Fame. I have always booed him when I have seen him pitch live as a fan; but I’ve always backed off during games and tried to have positive emotions.
-LaTroy Hawkins is right when he says he’ll be suspended. He was the right person to do the job there for the Yankees. I know its scary, but its also part of baseball unfortunately.
-Did the Sun decide they don’t need to cover the Ravens when there aren’t formal activities going on? How about a nice background story on Larry Walls and what his role will be with this team? Even a few player features every now and then would do. This is a football town after all.
-The MRC is doing the right thing by trying to find out more information about safety in Horse Racing. It may only be coming because of tragedy; but at least they’re doing it. Hopefully the entire sport will undergo safety changes in the next 11 months. Other sports have responded well to tragedy (i.e. NASCAR); and it is their turn.
Talk to you tomorrow.
