Who wants a free weekend in Deep Creek with Drew? (Yes, it’s F-R-E-E)

January 13, 2013 | Drew Forrester

Anyone out there crazy enough to go on an all-expenses paid weekend trip to Deep Creek Lake to celebrate my 50th birthday?

How about two of you, in fact?

I’m not even sure why I’m doing this.

Wait, yes I do.

Deep Creek is a lot of fun in the winter.  Our friends at the Wisp Resort are throwing me a 50th birthday party.  They’re going to have red wine there.  And they’re also letting me bring two of you along – and you can bring THREE friends with you!

Sounds too good to be true, right?

“OK, Drew, what’s the catch?” – That’s what you’re asking, right?

There’s no catch.  No tricks.  No chicanery.

This is very simple.  On the weekend of February 22-23-24, Wisp Resort is hosting “Drew’s Birthday Weekend”.  We’ll meet there on Friday afternoon, have dinner, drinks and do some “evening activities” in the snow (tubing, skiing, etc.).  Then we’ll get up on Saturday and do it all again, taking advantage of all that Wisp has to offer.  (CLICK HERE for their web-site if you want to check it out.)

We’ll recover by Sunday morning and have a few more hours of fun before heading back to the real world in Baltimore.

Your cost?

Wisp will provide you and your THREE (free) guests with a hotel room, some food and all the winter fun you can tolerate on the slopes.

OK, here’s how you enter the contest.  Yes, there’s actually a contest.  You can’t just go.  You have to EARN your way.

You need to send an email to “win@WNST.net”.  In that email, you need to tell me why you want to celebrate my 50th birthday with me at Deep Creek.  Bonus points to those of you who use as many Drew “buzz-words” as you can.  Let’s see how long you’ve listened to the show.  Let’s see how much you know about me and/or the show.  And don’t give me a bunch of “who struck John?” either.  There’s ONE hint for you.

Send the email to “win@WNST.net”.  I’ll review the entries and sit down with the folks at Wisp to pick two winners.  You will be able to bring three (3) guests with you.  Please do NOT enter the contest if you can’t be in Deep Creek on Friday, February 22 through Sunday, February 24, 2013.

The winner will be announced on my birthday, Wednesday, January 30, at 9:00 am on The D&L Window Tinting Morning Reaction, live from radio row in New Orleans.

Below, there’s all the legal stuff you need to read so that everything is on the up and up.  I suggest, seriously, that you read it all just so you’re familiar with the rules and regulations.  For instance, there’s only ONE entry per-person. That means you can only email once at “win@WNST.net” – so you better make it good.

If you have any questions about the contest, email me directly (Drew@WNST.net)
