Ravens-Seahawks: Inactives and pre-game notes

November 13, 2011 | Luke Jones

Hoping to maintain the immense momentum gained from a last-second victory over their hated rivals last week, the Ravens travel to CenturyLink Field to take on the 2-6 Seattle Seahawks.

Baltimore looks to start the season at 7-2 for only the second time in franchise history, the other coming in 2006 when the Ravens went 13-3 and won the AFC North. Currently tied with the Cincinnati Bengals atop the division, the Ravens will try to improve to 3-0 against the lowly NFC West that features only one team with a winning record (San Francisco).

The Ravens will wear their white jerseys and white pants as they did in their dramatic 23-20 win over the Steelers while Seattle will wear their all-blue uniforms.

As expected wide receiver Lee Evans is inactive and will miss his seventh straight game despite having practiced the entire week on a limited basis. The Ravens are optimistic the veteran wideout can make his return to action against the Cincinnati Bengals next week. Linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo is active, meaning he passed his concussion test on Saturday.

Here are today’s inactives:

LB Dannell Ellerbe

CB Chykie Brown
RB Anthony Allen
OL Bryan Mattison
LB Sergio Kindle

QB Josh Portis
WR Deon Butler
SS Jeron Johnson
