The President of the United States To Attend Towson Men’s Basketball Game

TOWSON, Md. – President of the United States Barack Obama and the First Family will be in attendance at the Towson men’s basketball game against Oregon State Saturday afternoon at the Towson Center.

A capacity crowd is expected for the game, which is slated to tip at 2 p.m. To accommodate expected delays entering the Towson Center, the TU Athletics Ticket office, will call windows and gates will open at noon. All fans must be in the arena by 1:45 p.m.

Gates Open at Noon to Ease Access to Arena for 2011-12 Home Opener

TOWSON, Md. – A capacity crowd is expected for Towson University’s men’s basketball 2011-12 home opener vs. PAC-12 opponent Oregon State University.  Tip-off is set for Saturday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m.

To accommodate expected delays entering the Towson Center, the TU Athletics Ticket office, will call windows and gates will open at noon.  All fans are encouraged to arrive early to the Towson Center, giving themselves at least an additional 45-60 minutes to park and enter the arena in time for the game.

Fans that do not yet have tickets can call 1-855-TU-TIGER or go online at www.TowsonTigers.com to purchase their tickets until capacity is reached.

Patrons with reserved season parking passes may park in Lot 21 adjacent to the Towson Center.  Overflow parking can be found in lots 13 & 14 located adjacent to Unitas Stadium on the North Side of the venue.

At halftime the 2011 CAA Championship Towson Football team will be recognized along with a presentation of the CAA Championship Trophy.
