MIKE BURWELL TO PARTICIPATE IN PORTSMOUTH COMBINE
Guard averaged 10.9 points and 4.3 rebounds during his senior season at Towson

NORFOLK, Va. – Towson senior Mike Burwell has been invited to the Portsmouth Combine Top 80 Free Agent exposure camp, which runs from April 17-19 at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.

The combine allows college seniors who have exhausted their eligibility and current professionals the opportunity to exhibit their athletic ability and basketball prowess in an environment that incorporates combine testing, skill development, and competitive games.

NBA, NBDL and international scouts have committed to attend the combine. The field of 80 participants will have their combine measurements taken and posted for all in attendance.

Burwell averaged 10.9 points and 4.3 rebounds for the Tigers during the 2013-14 season. The guard ranked 10th in the CAA by averaging 2.4 assists per game. In two years at Towson, Burwell totaled 671 points while starting all 67 games played in a Tiger uniform.
