TOWSON, Md. – The Towson lacrosse teams will participate in the annual Play for Parkinson’s tournament, held at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Va., on Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6.
The men will face Richmond on Coxe Field at 10 a.m. Saturday and Team USA Blue at 2 p.m. in the Hummel Bowl. At 4 p.m. fans can watch Team USA Blue scrimmage Team USA White in the Hummel Bowl.
The women will face Georgetown on Sunday in the Hummel Bowl at 9 a.m. followed by Duke at 10:20 a.m. on the same field. Towson’s third game of the day is against Penn State at 1 p.m. on Greenway Field.
The tournament raises money to benefit the ProjectSpark Foundation, an organization dedicated to eradicating Parkinson’s disease by providing other institutions committed to the same cause a “spark” to help “ignite the solutions needed to unlock a cure.”
