Towson To Host Inaugural Breast Cancer Awareness Night Saturday

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson men’s basketball program is set to host its inaugural Breast Cancer Awareness Night Saturday, Dec. 3 as the Tigers take on Colonial Athletic Association rival George Mason at the Towson Center. Tip time for the game has been changed from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. due to the NCAA football playoff games between Towson and Lehigh that is slated to kickoff at 3:30 p.m.

Fans attending the basketball game will receive $3 off their ticket price if they wear anything pink. The men’s basketball team will participate by wearing pink laces, wristbands and warm up shirts.

The Zeta sorority will be selling shirts and accepting donations and pink ribbons will be distributed to all fans.

Pink Paws will also be in attendance, led by senior women’s basketball player Meredith Kennedy.
