The UMBC men’s basketball team (0-5) has been tied with 10 minutes remaining in each of the last two games, but has been unable to finish and are still searching for their first win of the season. Rutgers (3-3) is undefeated in three home games this season and will be looking to snap a two game skid sustained at the Cancun Challenge last week. Tip-off time is set for 7:30 p.m.

For the second time in three games, a Retriever foe enjoyed a decided advantage at the free throw line. UMBC hit five more field goals (29-24) than Central, but the Blue Devils were 23-of-30 from the free throw line, while the visitors were just 4-of-10.

For the season, Biruta leads the Scarlet Knights in scoring (12.0 ppg) and rebounding (7.2), while shooting 51.9 percent (28-54).
