4. NHL: Washington Capitals @ Carolina Hurricanes (Tuesday 7pm from Raleigh live on Comcast SportsNet PLUS), New York Islanders @ Washington Capitals (Thursday 7pm from Verizon Center live on Comcast SportsNet), Washington Capitals @ Florida Panthers (Saturday 7:30pm from Sunrise, FL live on Comcast SportsNet), Tampa Bay Lightning @ Washington Capitals (Sunday 7pm from Verizon Center live on Comcast SportsNet PLUS)

If you missed this from “Web Junk” Monday, you really owe it to yourself to watch this clip of a NAHL announcer. It’s simply fantastic.

3. College Lacrosse: Maryland @ Navy (Friday 7pm from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium live on CBS Sports Network); Albany @ Johns Hopkins (Friday 7pm from Homewood Field live on ESPNU); Fairfield @ Loyola (Saturday 2:30pm Ridley Athletic Complex); Massachusetts-Amherst @ Towson (Saturday 1pm from Unitas Stadium live on Towson Sports Network); Vermont @ UMBC (Saturday 1pm UMBC Stadium)

And if you missed a FABULOUS goal from Baltimore’s own Jay Carlson in Maryland’s win over Virginia last weekend it’s certainly worth seeing again…

My oh my.

2. Pro Wrestling: WWE WrestleMania 29  (Sunday 7pm from East Rutherford, NJ live on Pay-Per-View)

I went to Monday Night RAW this week. I was reminded there was a good bit about WrestleMania that seemed familiar this year, including…

Yep. Seemed familiar.

1. College Basketball: NIT-Maryland vs. Iowa (Tuesday 9pm from New York live on ESPN2), NIT Championship Game (Thursday 9pm from New York live on ESPN); NCAA Final Four: Wichita State vs. Louisville (Saturday 6:09pm from Atlanta live on CBS), Michigan vs. Syracuse (Saturday 8:49pm from Atlanta live on CBS), NCAA Championship Game (Monday TBD from Atlanta live on CBS)

Listen to you every day (streaming). I lived in Baltimore for 56 years and moved to Iowa 4 years ago. I still support all the local teams from 1,000 miles away, but you are really out of your mind if you think Baltimore or Maryland is better than Iowa. There isn’t enough space available for me to list the reasons! I’m rooting for the Terps tonight, but get your facts straight about the State of Iowa and everything pertaining.

    Enjoy your show!

(Edit from Glenn: I’m just practicing my Big Ten smack-talk! Being in the ACC, I’d tell you I hate North Carolina but truth be told I go out of my way to get down there for barbecue with regularity.

But I’m actually looking forward a great deal to an Iowa-Maryland football game in Iowa City. I’ll be making the trip for sure.)
