4. College Basketball: Abilene Christian @ Maryland (Wednesday 7pm from Comcast Center live on Comcast SportsNet PLUS), Oregon State @ Maryland (Sunday 6pm from Comcast Center live on ESPNU); Morgan State @ Towson (Tuesday 7:30pm SECU Arena), Temple @ Towson (Thursday 7:30pm from SECU Arena live on NBC Sports Network), Towson @ Villanova (Sunday 5pm from Villanova, PA live on Fox Sports 1); San Diego @ Morgan State (Thursday 7pm Hill Field House); Fairfield @ Loyola (Saturday 8pm from Reitz Arena live on MASN); UMBC @ American (Thursday 7:30pm from Bender Arena live on CSN), Mount St. Mary’s @ UMBC (Sunday 2pm RAC Arena); Wagner @ Coppin State (Monday 7:30pm Coppin State Physical Education Complex)

Is there any way that any of these teams can get VMI on the schedule at the last minute? I need more Jordan Weethee in my life.

3. Auto Racing: NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup Ford Ecoboost 400 (Sunday 3pm from Homestead, FL live on ESPN)

Disappointing news Monday, as Anne Arundel County’s own Travis Pastrana announced he would leave NASCAR. Among the reasons he’s leaving? To spend more time with his wife. This actually makes TOTAL sense.

2. College Football: Maryland @ Virginia Tech (Saturday 12:30pm from Blacksburg, VA live on ACC Network-WJZ 13 locally); South Alabama @ Navy (Saturday 3:30pm from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium live on CBS Sports Network); Towson @ William & Mary (Saturday 1:30pm from Williamsburg, VA live on Towson Sports Network); Morgan State @ South Carolina State (Thursday 7:30pm from Orangeburg, SC live on ESPNU); Johns Hopkins @ McDaniel (Saturday 12pm Gill Stadium); Lycoming @ Stevenson (Saturday 1pm Mustang Stadium); Texas Tech/Baylor (Saturday 7pm from Waco, TX live on FOX), Stanford @ USC (Saturday 8pm from Los Angeles live on ABC); Marching On: 1963 Army-Navy Remembered” premieres (Thursday 8pm CBS Sports Network)

No offense, but I’m not watching any of these games. In fact, I’m never watching another game that doesn’t involve Princeton.

That OWNS.

1. NFL: Baltimore Ravens @ Chicago Bears (Sunday 1pm from Chicago live on CBS)

And perhaps…maybe…help is on the way? For both teams?

Flexing my mic muscles since 1983…
