2. Opening Day – It ain’t what it used to be but what is, right? At one point the game was the big deal about the Baltimore Orioles first home game of the spring but now it’s evolved into an extended St. Patrick’s Day booze-fest. Kinda like the Preakness where not many go to watch the horses, you can usually see in the later innings that many didn’t have nine innings in them. But, when the weather is right, and more specifically if you really love or ever loved baseball, it’s hard to mess up Opening Day when hope springs eternal and all of Peter Angelos’ employees roll out in tuxedos.
