Here’s a list of #WNSTSweet16 “must attend” events for Baltimore sports fans

15. Crab Deck at Aberdeen Ironbirds at Ripken Stadium – You could say you’d rather do the Cal Ripken World Series – and there’s something awesome about watching kids play the game for the sheer love of playing it – but any visit to the stadium is a vision left over from the life of Cal Ripken Sr. and seen through the eyes of the whole Ripken family. The whole complex is amazing. And minor league baseball doesn’t suck in Bowie, Frederick or the Delmarva but this is right on I-95. Twenty minutes away for many in Baltimore and it’s a great place to experience summer and baseball. Oh, and crabs!

One bright spot out of the awful decision by Maryland to move to the Big 10 is that this will be a conference game.

The best Capitals playoff game I ever attended was Game 4 of the 1998 Stanley Cup … since I AM a Wings Fan!

… oh, and some of us underprivileged public school folks will gladly swap out #4 for the much older and much more traditional, but hardly recognized City – Poly football game that has been renewed 125 consecutive times. GO CITY!
