Here’s a list of #WNSTSweet16 “must attend” events for Baltimore sports fans

11. Ed Block Courage Awards – This throwback banquet to raise money for abused and underprivileged children honors former Baltimore Colts trainer Ed Block by bringing in players from all 32 NFL teams to honor them for battling back from a key injury. Voted on by their teammates, this is a special group of men who come to town and if you attend the banquet, see the cause and feel the energy, you’ll know that Baltimore is doing something special on this March night every year.

    One bright spot out of the awful decision by Maryland to move to the Big 10 is that this will be a conference game.

    The best Capitals playoff game I ever attended was Game 4 of the 1998 Stanley Cup … since I AM a Wings Fan!

    … oh, and some of us underprivileged public school folks will gladly swap out #4 for the much older and much more traditional, but hardly recognized City – Poly football game that has been renewed 125 consecutive times. GO CITY!
