Today is the final day of the world’s most unusual job fair, the NFL scouting combine. For the last several days, potential NFL players have been quizzed, interviewed, poked, prodded, and otherwise evaluated in seemingly every manner possible. Many fortunes have already been made and lost on the field of Lucas Oil Stadium and in the recesses of its back rooms too.
The combine is a curious type of job interview to say the least. Since most of what you’re going to be asked to do is spelled out clearly beforehand, it may be easier to prepare for than your standard job interview. But since a lot of what’s being evaluated is overall athleticism, preparation alone may not be enough.
