Short and sweet is this; the Ravens SHOULD win tomorrow at Arrow Head and beat the AFC West Champs Kansas City Chiefs. Oh they will probably go up 20-3 early in the third quarter and allow the Chiefs to crawl back into the game before winning 23-20, or something like that.
If the Ravens defense can control KC rushers Thomas Jones (896 yards/2010) and Jamaal Charles (1,467 yards/2010), then they should be able to control the game. Matt Cassel and the Chiefs are not a throwing team. It will be important to get up on them early and score often to force them to throw.
It would be nice to see the Purple Birds muster up a big double digit win. But they never make it easy on us. I expect a close game in the end and a Ravens victory. The key thing to remember is that we win. A W is a W is a W. We are spoiled here in Baltimore. We forget those God awful days in 1996, 1997, and 1998 where a victory, any victory was cherished.
A win and we move on: a lose, and it’s time to put all the Raven yard stuff away for seven months. GO RAVENS!!!!!!
