» Drew's Bio

The only person in the history of Baltimore sports-talk to attend Game 2 of the 1983 World Series, shoot 64 in golf (twice) and sit next to Dave Grohl on a flight from Baltimore to Cleveland (1997), Drew is the host of The Comcast Morning Show from 6am-10am Monday through Friday. Topics routinely range from the Ravens, Terps and the Orioles and their decision to not improve the team for the (insert number of years here) consecutive season. His favorite movie is "Wiggle Bay" and his favorite member of Little Einstein's is June. Drew's son Ethan said, "Daddy, why do the Flyers stink so bad?" when he was only 8 days old. "Gotta start 'em young," the proud papa said that night.

Joe DeFrancis, Tim Donaghy highlight Tuesday’s show

I just wanted to let everyone know that we have a couple of interesting guests lined up for the Tuesday edition of The Comcast Morning Show.

Actually, I don’t know why I wrote “let everyone know”…the Orioles told me back in 2008 we only have one listener.  So, I don’t know you are…but here’s who we have for YOU tomorrow morning.

Joe DeFrancis will join me at 7:45 am to talk about his bid to purchase Laurel and Pimlico in the auction coming up in early January.

And at 8:30 am, former NBA referee Tim Donaghy will call-in to discuss his banishment from the game of professional basketball.

DeFrancis and Donaghy…quite a duo.

One of them looking to stay involved in a sport that NEEDS gambling.

One of them looking to get as far away from gambling as he can.

I say it’s even-money they both call in tomorrow.

Any takers?  LOL

    and THATS not sarcasm either

    Drew,

    Interesting show. It is sad and funny, at the same time that this slots issue is taking forever to get going. In fact, what is the point? Charlestown is getting table games within 6 months, and Deleware has sports gambling. It is kind of like the Baltimore Civic Center, or 83 downtown (totally out of date when they were built)(when was the last time you were allowed to go 55 on a 90 degree turn?)

    It is so unfortunate a wonderful state like Maryland takes forever to get things done. I am a horse racing enthusiest and believe it a crime if it goes away. More importantly, it makes me sad that the great state we live in cannot get its act together.

    I should write a blog on this because I have so much more. Maybe I will call it ‘ Why Maryland should relocate between Alabama and Mississippi’

    Rob

    @alex thomas: lol!
