» Drew's Bio

The only person in the history of Baltimore sports-talk to attend Game 2 of the 1983 World Series, shoot 64 in golf (twice) and sit next to Dave Grohl on a flight from Baltimore to Cleveland (1997), Drew is the host of The Comcast Morning Show from 6am-10am Monday through Friday. Topics routinely range from the Ravens, Terps and the Orioles and their decision to not improve the team for the (insert number of years here) consecutive season. His favorite movie is "Wiggle Bay" and his favorite member of Little Einstein's is June. Drew's son Ethan said, "Daddy, why do the Flyers stink so bad?" when he was only 8 days old. "Gotta start 'em young," the proud papa said that night.

Drew hosts Super Bowl Live Chat on Sunday at 4pm

My guess is that by sometime around 3:30 or so on Sunday, we’ll all be sick to death of shoveling snow.  And what better way to get back to our “real world” of following sports - and preparing for Super Bowl 44 - then to have a live chat at WNST.net!

So I’ll be manning the controls on Sunday afternoon, starting at 4pm, right here at WNST.net.

Here’s the link to get in on all the fun: http://wnst.net/wordpress/section/live-chat/

From there, you can opine on whatever you like Sunday.  For instance:

  • Super Bowl 44
  • The Maryland-UNC basketball game (Sunday at 2pm)
  • Orioles spring training right around the corner
  • Ravens draft talk
  • How much you despise snow

Please get all of the hard work out of the way by Sunday afternoon, take a nice hot bath or shower, and get in front of the computer on Sunday at 4pm for our own version of the Super Bowl “pre-game” live chat session.

I’ll see you then.

Remember, bend from the hips to save your back.

Or, just hire the kids from the neighborhood and give them $20 for shoveling your car out.

Hey…SERIOUSLY…if any of you need “professional” snow plowing or snow removal, don’t forget to call our sponsor, CFC Landscaping, at 410-239-2561.

They’ll take care of long driveways, office parking lots, etc.

  1. Franchise Says:

    Drew,

Will you still be live with the chat once the Super Bowl starts at 6:30PM EST on Sunday????

By the way, your competition on Radio Row (The Fan 105.7FM), Mid-Day Team with Bruce Cunningham at the controls, was hot on a topic about a fight which brokeout this week on Radio Row whereby the Police was called-in for arrests….Was the WNST 1570AM Team involved????

    Regards,

Louis Armstrong, “Oh When Dem Saints Come Marchin’ In”

(DF: I was on radio row and didn’t hear anything about a fight or arrests. How the hell would Cunningham know about something that happened on radio row? He was in Baltimore all week.)

  2. The "Armchair" QB Says:

Snow is one thing, but what we got, with more predicted mid-week is……nuts! Anyway, count me among the disappointed that Shannon Sharpe failed to get into the HOF for the second year in a row. The HOF needs to re-visit it’s “Mission Statement” criteria for induction, which would not only qualify Sharpe for induction, but Art Modell as well. Of course, we all know politics plays no role in the selection process……yeah, right!!!
