Glenn's Bio
When Pop-a-Shot basketball becomes an Olympic sport, Glenn Clark will win the gold, silver AND bronze. In the meantime, he's continuing his career as a Baltimore sports media person. We say "person" because he has too many jobs to describe them all right now. You hear him on "The Morning Reaction" & talking about the Ravens throughout the day on WNST. You read his columns on WNST.net, and if you're a female you've been awkwardly hit on by him at least once. If not, he says you should give him a call. He's been accused of being the adopted son of Gary Williams, and will fight you if you don't think Roberto Alomar belongs in the Hall of Fame. He prefers lacrosse to baseball, Robert Randolph to Led Zeppelin, Blue Moon to red wine, and Chick-Fil-A to anything.

The Baltimore Ravens made additional roster moves Sunday as they now prepare to open the season September 13th against the New York Jets at the new Meadowlands Stadium. The team claimed CB Bryan McCann off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys and released CB Prince Miller to make room for him on the active roster. McCann is ... Read More »
The Baltimore Ravens made multiple moves today to trim their roster from 75 active players to 53. The team announced they have placed DT Kelly Talavou (knee), OT David Hale (back), OT Stefan Rodgers (ankle and OT Ramon Harewood (knee) on Injured Reserve, ending their 2010 season. The team also moved S Ed Reed from the ... Read More »
3:15pm update: I figured we should take a look at the roster, based on what we know/assume: (Edit from GMC: When I say “DEFINITELY”, I am saying that either based on the fact that a player was never on the bubble to begin with, or based on news we have heard today.) There are DEFINITELY 2 QB’s ... Read More »
The preseason is over and the Baltimore Ravens face a Saturday deadline to trim their roster to 53 players. I said this after the loss to the St. Louis Rams was over, but it bears repeating. I have AGONIZED over putting together an only somewhat educated MOCK roster. I can’t IMAGINE how Ozzie Newsome, John Harbaugh, ... Read More »
OWINGS MILLS, Md. — The Baltimore Ravens returned to the practice field Friday morning at 1 Winning Drive following their 27-21 defeat at the hands of the St. Louis Rams Thursday night at Edward Jones Dome. This will be the final time the Ravens will gather with 75 active players before they (and all other ... Read More »
Drew Forrester and I put together our own 53 man mock roster Friday on “The Morning Reaction” on AM1570 WNST. Here’s a look position by position. A reminder that we made this last based on the 53 players WE would keep if we were Ozzie Newsome and John Harbaugh. These are NOT necessarily the 53 players ... Read More »
I’m going to save my final thoughts on the Ravens’ upcoming roster cuts for Friday, but I figured I’d share some thoughts from the Baltimore Ravens’ 27-21 loss to the St. Louis Rams Thursday night before I did. Plenty of jobs were considered to be “on the line” Thursday night, but not a whole lot of ... Read More »
It might not look like NFL football, but technically it will be. The Baltimore Ravens visit the St. Louis Rams tonight at Edward Jones Dome, kickoff is at 8pm. We chose to pass on the St. Louis trip, mostly because the Ravens are going to choose to pass on playing the majority of their starters ... Read More »
Coming off a season in which they won a share of the ACC regular season crown and made a 2nd consecutive NCAA Tournament, the Maryland Terrapins kick off their 2010-2011 campaign less than two months from Thursday, playing an exhibition contest Monday, November 1 against Florida Southern in College Park. Maryland’s schedule is highlighted by an ... Read More »
Happy Thursday! It’s a (semi) Happy Thursday for me, because the bad news is that Andy Roddick suffered his annual collapse last night at the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows. My alcohol consumption during the match was at an all-time high. As soon as Tipsarevic went up 0-40 on A-Rod’s serve to close the 2nd I ... Read More »
