Glenn's Bio
When Pop-a-Shot basketball becomes an Olympic sport, Glenn Clark will win the gold, silver AND bronze. In the meantime, he's continuing his career as a Baltimore sports media person. We say "person" because he has too many jobs to describe them all right now. You hear him on "The Comcast Morning Show" & talking about the Ravens throughout the day on WNST. You read his columns on WNST.net, and if you're a female you've been awkwardly hit on by him at least once. If not, he says you should give him a call. He's been accused of being the adopted son of Gary Williams, and will fight you if you don't think Roberto Alomar belongs in the Hall of Fame. He prefers lacrosse to baseball, Robert Randolph to Led Zeppelin, Blue Moon to red wine, and Chick-Fil-A to anything.

This might not be a popular sentiment; but I DO think Brian Billick should have talked to the Baltimore Sun. He did not have to talk to Mike Preston; he could have chosen to talk to Jamison Hensley, or probably even Rick Maese or Peter Schmuck. I know Brian has issues beyond just Mike Preston’s crusade ... Look, I know I promised a full update with bloggers today; but that was before I was called upon to attend last night’s WWE RAW broadcast at the US Airways Center in Phoenix. I forgot how much fun pro wrestling events can be. Thanks to Mark Randall for taking care of us (we were in ... Read More »
Sorry bloggers! I couldn’t get a full update tonight after a crazy day in Arizona (Juan Dixon’s Pistons blow out D.J. Strawberry’s Suns; Coyotes shut out Blues; Tiger wins the Match Play event in Tucson; and Spring Training games ready to start this week). BIG UPS to Brenda Frese, Crystal Langhorne and the Maryland Terrapins. This ... Read More »
I have a bunch of things to touch on today. First of all, I have to talk about Ozzie Newsome’s comment that he still considers Steve McNair the Ravens’ starting QB. No matter what the Ravens think internally, they HAVE to say that they consider McNair the starter until another decision is made. I don’t think ... Read More »
Maryland’s loss wasn’t just a bad loss. It wasn’t just a disappointing loss. Last night’s loss was not acceptable; it was possibly debilitating. The one thing that had changed between December and now was that after this team had “clicked”; there was reason to believe that they would no longer lose games like this. There was ... Read More »
I have fully accepted Jay Gibbons’ and Brian Roberts’ apologies. I agree with their statements that what they did was NOT the end of the world, and that they should be able to move on. I understand that they are embarrassed. I understand that they are disappointed. I think it’s time for them to be ... Read More »
Adam Jones is going to become a superstar. Okay, we all HOPE Adam Jones is going to become a superstar. In reality, the Orioles NEED Adam Jones to become a superstar. Hell, we as Orioles fans really NEED Adam Jones to become a superstar. The excitement and rock stardom that welcomed Adam Jones to Florida today ... Read More »
I swore I was going to do a full update today. I swore I had written half of an update last night. Unfortunately, we’re doing some syndicated stuff on the weekends, and I’m not getting the day off today to make up for it. Bloggers, I’ll get you tomorrow I promise. In the update I started ... Of course Steve McNair still considers himself this team’s starter. What is he supposed to think? He wants to come back, prove he’s healthy, win, and make money. Who can blame him? Unfortunately, I am not of the opinion that even a healthy Steve McNair makes this team a winner. I also happen to think that ... Read More »
Maryland is NOT one of the ten best teams in the country. I read that in a lot of blogs and on MANY message boards over the last few days, and even I had to chuckle. This team’s turnaround has been absolutely UNREAL; but they are by no means amongst the ten best teams in ... Read More »
