Glenn's Bio
When Pop-a-Shot basketball becomes an Olympic sport, Glenn Clark will win the gold, silver AND bronze. In the meantime, he's continuing his career as a Baltimore sports media person. We say "person" because he has too many jobs to describe them all right now. You hear him on "The Comcast Morning Show" & talking about the Ravens throughout the day on WNST. You read his columns on WNST.net, and if you're a female you've been awkwardly hit on by him at least once. If not, he says you should give him a call. He's been accused of being the adopted son of Gary Williams, and will fight you if you don't think Roberto Alomar belongs in the Hall of Fame. He prefers lacrosse to baseball, Robert Randolph to Led Zeppelin, Blue Moon to red wine, and Chick-Fil-A to anything.

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-Good to see Matt Albers looked impressive yesterday. Especially with Troy Patton’s injury, a contribution from Albers would make the Tejada deal even sweeter.
-When the Orioles DO send Matt Wieters back to Minor League Camp soon; I hope it is his only Minor League Camp experience ever. You have to wonder if he might be a Joe Mauer type of talent.
-I guess hope truly does ’Spring’ eternal; as even I got over my baseball apathy today in checking intrasquad statistics. Luke Scott went 2-2? We’re definitely going to the World Series!
-Kudos to the leadership of the state of Maryland for taking the steps to regulate Mixed Martial Arts. Local fighters deserve the chance to fight professionally in Maryland. Plus, Dana White told me in an interview at UFC 75 last year that he would like to hold major events in cities like Baltimore at least once a year (not always Pay Per Views; but obviously he is considering other options). This is a great start.
