Glenn's Bio
When Pop-a-Shot basketball becomes an Olympic sport, Glenn Clark will win the gold, silver AND bronze. In the meantime, he's continuing his career as a Baltimore sports media person. We say "person" because he has too many jobs to describe them all right now. You hear him on "The Comcast Morning Show" & talking about the Ravens throughout the day on WNST. You read his columns on WNST.net, and if you're a female you've been awkwardly hit on by him at least once. If not, he says you should give him a call. He's been accused of being the adopted son of Gary Williams, and will fight you if you don't think Roberto Alomar belongs in the Hall of Fame. He prefers lacrosse to baseball, Robert Randolph to Led Zeppelin, Blue Moon to red wine, and Chick-Fil-A to anything.

Coach Cottle and the Terps Lacrosse team deserve a lot of credit for what they were able to accomplish today. From the opening face-off, the Terps clearly outmanned a #1, undefeated Virginia team; pulling out a 13-7 win. Not only was this a big win ON the field; this was huge off the field as well, as the Byrd ... Read More »
I was looking forward to an easy day/night after regionals; but then the Doug Davis story broke. I talked to Doug tonight; he looked all of us in the eye and told us he believes he will be fine, his family has a history, and he thinks he will be back soon. He also said ... Read More »

I’d go back to the stadium too. You know; if I lived in Baltimore. Nestor Aparicio is like the rest of us. He’s a HUGE Orioles fan. Unfortunately; Nestor is also like the rest of us in seeing that this organization has gone HORRIBLY wrong under Peter Angelos. Kevin McCabe from FSN Arizona sat in with me ... Read More »
Mr. Trembley, I would prefer it if you would make Matt Albers this team’s fifth starter. I’m not sure that he’ll be good at all, and I don’t know that he’d be a starter on any other team; but he offers us more hope than Brian Burres-and hope is a big deal around here. Also, please ... Read More »
College Basketball season is officially over for me. With the Terps losing at Syracuse, and then both Maryland teams eliminated last Friday; all I had left was my brackets. And then Georgetown lost. So much for my theory that teams who make the Final Four the year before tend to do well the following season; maybe ... Read More »
If I can get a Crabs and Beer up tonight; I promise I will discuss this further; but when scooting over to InsideLacrosse.com tonight to check out what’s been happening while I’ve been buried in College Hoops AND Spring Training action (side note: I was at Texas-Seattle today: is Tug Hulett related to Tim? I am totally split on the entire Orioles Hall of Fame……I think the people that are honored there are deserving of being honored; but I also wonder if it is truly that much of an honor to join this group. Brady Anderson, BJ Surhoff, and Chris Hoiles were certainly all deserving in recent years. I absolutely ... Read More »
Dan Connolly makes a very good point. We’re all hoping that Kevin Millar, Aubrey Huff, Ramon Hernandez, etc. could actually provide at least SMALL value on the open market moving towards July 31st; but George Sherrill could potentially have MUCH greater value. Chris Ray is still the closer of the future for this team; no matter ... Read More »
