Glenn's Bio
When Pop-a-Shot basketball becomes an Olympic sport, Glenn Clark will win the gold, silver AND bronze. In the meantime, he's continuing his career as a Baltimore sports media person. We say "person" because he has too many jobs to describe them all right now. You hear him on "The Comcast Morning Show" & talking about the Ravens throughout the day on WNST. You read his columns on WNST.net, and if you're a female you've been awkwardly hit on by him at least once. If not, he says you should give him a call. He's been accused of being the adopted son of Gary Williams, and will fight you if you don't think Roberto Alomar belongs in the Hall of Fame. He prefers lacrosse to baseball, Robert Randolph to Led Zeppelin, Blue Moon to red wine, and Chick-Fil-A to anything.

You can’t help get the feeling that the Ravens might be already thinking about the next contract for Haloti Ngata. Ngata signed his rookie deal in 2006; and will be eligible for free agency following the 2010 season. However, his agent will certainly be looking to get him a new deal following the 2009 season. Albert ... Read More »
Unfortunately, Maryland’s loss to Duke last night meant Bob Haynie had to wear an Orlando Magic JJ Redick jersey today…… Had the Terps won; Casey Willett would have had to have worn a throwback Ernie Graham jersey. Would’ve been a better look….. ... Read More »

The theme I kept coming back to after the game was Gary’s comments about it being a “shame” the Terps had to play without Greivis Vasquez for most of the 2nd half in their 78-67 loss to Duke tonight. I try to avoid commenting on officiating as much as possible; as I’m not one to ... Read More »
OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Junior Lauren Zegowitz (Gaithersburg/Damascus) and sophomore Lisa Baker (Westminster/Westminster) combined for 10 goals and 13 points as the Stevenson University women’s lacrosse team won its sixth-straight at home, 17-9 over York (Pa.) in a CAC contest Wednesday at Caves Athletics Complex. The Mustangs (2-0, 2-0 CAC) had twice as many shots as the Spartans while scoring on ... Read More »
Duke 94, Maryland 86 Can lightning strike the same place twice? I don’t think so. If Duke is shooting, there’s nothing Maryland (or anyone else) can do to beat them. Same goes for Carolina, but Carolina wasn’t shooting the other day. I DON’T think Maryland will be blown out again at home; but I don’t think ... Read More »
If the Ravens want to pursue Marvin Harrison; that’s fine with me….. …….IF (and only if) they are pursuing him as a complementary option to the number 1 receiver they are also looking to obtain. Marvin Harrison is NOT the answer at wide receiver. But he could be part of the solution for one season if nothing ... Read More »
On one side; I agree with Drew. I think it is very likely that Ray Lewis said something to DeMarcus Ware along the lines of “I don’t know what’s gonna happen with all of this; but I might want to be a Cowboy.” DeMarcus Ware might have decided to run with that. Or maybe Ray Lewis ... Read More »
I call it 15-7-0. 15 are awesome, 7 were lucky, and there’s a total ZERO. I must admit that sometimes I’m the ZERO for spending my entire Sunday on a couch doing nothing but watching sports. OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Stevenson University men’s lacrosse junior Steve Kazimer (Syracuse, N.Y./Henniger) scored a game-high three goals, including the game-winner with 3:21 remaining in the third quarter as the No. 5-ranked Mustangs held on for a 7-6 victory over Widener Saturday at the Caves Athletics Complex. Kazimer finished the game with four points to lead Stevenson (1-0) who won their ... Read More »
