» Glenn's Bio

When Pop-a-Shot basketball becomes an Olympic sport, Glenn Clark will win the gold, silver AND bronze. In the meantime, he's continuing his career as a Baltimore sports media person. We say "person" because he has too many jobs to describe them all right now. You hear him on "The Comcast Morning Show" & talking about the Ravens throughout the day on WNST. You read his columns on WNST.net, and if you're a female you've been awkwardly hit on by him at least once. If not, he says you should give him a call. He's been accused of being the adopted son of Gary Williams, and will fight you if you don't think Roberto Alomar belongs in the Hall of Fame. He prefers lacrosse to baseball, Robert Randolph to Led Zeppelin, Blue Moon to red wine, and Chick-Fil-A to anything.

Thursday Morning’s Crabs and Beer

Do you want me to say something about Felix Pie? I already have. He has no business here. It’s borderline embarrassing. Joey Gathright can do the things Felix Pie does (and Joey Gathright is not a particularly good player either).

Do you want me to say something about Koji Uehara? I’ve already said plenty. The guy should go to the bullpen. It is tough to pay someone $5 million and then use them in relief; but it is tougher to watch a guy who physically can’t pitch the number of innings that are required from a pitcher.

Do you want me to say something about the Orioles? I’d much rather talk about soccer or Transformers.

Let’s see what everyone else has to say…..

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:

-I’ve never been to the Horseshoe before. I doubt that will change when Navy visits Ohio State; but I’m certainly tempted. A trip to Berkley probably will be out of the question given the expenses I’ve taken on in buying a new whip (thanks Koons Ford); but a trip to Columbus sounds like a lot of fun.

Talk to you tomorrow.
