Glenn's Bio
When Pop-a-Shot basketball becomes an Olympic sport, Glenn Clark will win the gold, silver AND bronze. In the meantime, he's continuing his career as a Baltimore sports media person. We say "person" because he has too many jobs to describe them all right now. You hear him on "The Comcast Morning Show" & talking about the Ravens throughout the day on WNST. You read his columns on WNST.net, and if you're a female you've been awkwardly hit on by him at least once. If not, he says you should give him a call. He's been accused of being the adopted son of Gary Williams, and will fight you if you don't think Roberto Alomar belongs in the Hall of Fame. He prefers lacrosse to baseball, Robert Randolph to Led Zeppelin, Blue Moon to red wine, and Chick-Fil-A to anything.

How would you respond to a friend who called you to say “Hey man, I have a ticket to Wednesday’s game; do you want to go?”
I mean, you might see exciting things like Adam Jones’ UNBELIEVABLE catch last night; but you’ll be hanging out with something like 30,000 Red Sox fans all night.

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-You have to get the feeling that this Michael Oher movie isn’t the most popular thing in the world of Michael Oher. I think that everyone who knew him at Ole Miss is excited for the opportunity to honor a kid they fell in love with for four years; but to have your life recognized on film when you are really just beginning it still seems to me to be more of a burden than anything. How will Oher’s teammates look at him when they turn on their TV’s and see trailer after trailer for a flick about a rookie?
Talk to you tomorrow.

Glenn,
How about forking-over the free ticket to a Yankee fan on Wednesday to heckle the 30,000 obnoxious Red Sox Nation frontrunners while rooting on the Birds??!!!

dude what is your beef with baseball, I mean do you not like it cause you werent good as a kid or something. Your in sports talk radio in a city with two major sports, baseball and football and if you dont like one you arent really good for the job right?
(Edit from GMC: Always one of these guys. Baseball is not a good product. It hasn’t been for YEARS. If you watch the average baseball game on any given day; and compare it to the average lacrosse game-or average MMA fight-or average European soccer match; all of those products are significantly more entertaining to watch. That being said; as I’ve mentioned a thousand or so times before; I LOVE the Orioles more than just about anything in the world. I have followed them passionately my entire life. I care about them so much that it drives me crazy. Please don’t be upset at me for the fact that baseball is pretty pathetic to watch these days.)

Glenn, I agree with Drew’s decision to kick Rick to the curb. For you to take up for that that clown is totally ludicrous and insults your intelligence. Now I can keep 1570 tuned to the truck and not have to change stations to Ed Norris or Jack FM. Every time I hear him on ANY station I change it and it stays on that station until something causes me to change it again. A great way to lose listeners to any other station is to keep pumping up this guy like he’s your best friend in the world. He calls every sports talk station every freakin day and goes through the same banter. Do yourself a favor and disassociate yourself from the Reisterstown village idiot Rick. The station will be much better without him.
(Edit from GMC: As I’ve told everyone else; I think it’s best that you let the radio people make the radio decisions. If you don’t like something we do; the knob is right there on the radio.)
