Glenn's Bio
When Pop-a-Shot basketball becomes an Olympic sport, Glenn Clark will win the gold, silver AND bronze. In the meantime, he's continuing his career as a Baltimore sports media person. We say "person" because he has too many jobs to describe them all right now. You hear him on "The Comcast Morning Show" & talking about the Ravens throughout the day on WNST. You read his columns on WNST.net, and if you're a female you've been awkwardly hit on by him at least once. If not, he says you should give him a call. He's been accused of being the adopted son of Gary Williams, and will fight you if you don't think Roberto Alomar belongs in the Hall of Fame. He prefers lacrosse to baseball, Robert Randolph to Led Zeppelin, Blue Moon to red wine, and Chick-Fil-A to anything.

Greensboro, NC It was going to be a tough match-up. When the seedings for this weekend’s ACC Tournament were announced, Maryland fans were immediately concerned about the potential for the Terps to have to face Georgia Tech in the quarterfinals. They were right to be concerned, as the Yellow Jackets had nearly stunned Maryland some 3 weeks ... Read More »

College Park, MD I’m going to keep this short. Mostly because even I don’t know how much more can be said. If the question was “What is the most fitting way Greivis Vasquez could close out his final game in College Park?”, the answer came with 37 seconds to play in the Terrapins’ 79-72 win over ... College Park, MD To say Sean Mosley was in a scoring slump would have been an understatement. Coming into Wednesday night’s game against Clemson, Maryland’s sophomore guard from Baltimore (St. Frances) was mired in a 7 game streak where he had failed to reach double digit points. In calendar year 2010, he had scored more than ... Read More »
COLLEGE PARK, MD There is an oft-used quote amongst basketball commentators that sometimes a close game will come down to “whoever has the ball last.” Of course, the quote would be much more appropriate if those commentators would say that games came down to “whoever has the ball last figuring out a way to make ... College Park, MD Greivis Vasquez may never be allowed to forget what he said about Cameron Indoor Stadium before Maryland was beaten down by 41 points a season ago. “That’s my house, I love going in there. It’s going to be fun.” If only Maryland’s senior guard from Venezuela had picked a game at Comcast Center to ... Read More »
Durham, NC Coming in, it had the feeling of a Maryland-Duke classic. Before Saturday’s Maryland-Duke game at Cameron Indoor Stadium, there was a real sense that the Maryland-Duke rivalry was regaining significance both atop the ACC and throughout the country. It had the feel of those games from 1999-2003 where when Maryland and Duke met, it ... Read More »

College Park, MD Perhaps we should call it “revenge of snow game.” On January 27, 2000; North Carolina students were asked to move down to the court after a 20 inch snowstorm in Chapel Hill limited how many season ticket holders could attend a scheduled game at the Dean Smith Center. The Tar Heels would fight ... Read More »
College Park, MD As Maryland piled on to their growing lead in the 2nd half of an 81-59 win over the Miami Hurricanes Tuesday night at Comcast Center, it was hard to come up with many more adjectives to describe how well the Terps were playing. “They’re playing really well” I thought. I then moved to ... Read More »
