Glenn's Bio
When Pop-a-Shot basketball becomes an Olympic sport, Glenn Clark will win the gold, silver AND bronze. In the meantime, he's continuing his career as a Baltimore sports media person. We say "person" because he has too many jobs to describe them all right now. You hear him on "The Comcast Morning Show" & talking about the Ravens throughout the day on WNST. You read his columns on WNST.net, and if you're a female you've been awkwardly hit on by him at least once. If not, he says you should give him a call. He's been accused of being the adopted son of Gary Williams, and will fight you if you don't think Roberto Alomar belongs in the Hall of Fame. He prefers lacrosse to baseball, Robert Randolph to Led Zeppelin, Blue Moon to red wine, and Chick-Fil-A to anything.

1:51pm-I just got off the conference call Ralph Friedgen held with local reporters. He said he was “very thankful” Debbie Yow decided to retain him for next season; and claimed “next year’s team has the chance to be good, the following year’s team has the chance to be real good.” As far as major structural changes ... Maryland was pathetic in their 17-13 loss to Duke on Saturday. The play-calling was pathetic. The play-execution was pathetic. They rotated being pathetic offensively, defensively, and on special teams. It was an embarrassing loss for a team that has made a season out of embarrassment. They’re just not good enough. And with the loss, it is time for Ralph ... Read More »
Maryland held on to beat Clemson 24-21 today in College Park; allowing those of us gathered around a computer in Boston to breathe again before we headed over to Fenway Park. In the 4th quarter, Ralph Friedgen made three VERY questionable decisions that could have easily turned the game completely in favor of the Tigers. With 6:02 ... Read More »

You get props….. 1-Jim Thome, Jeremy Guthrie and Gregg Zaun “Sliced bread is actually the best thing since Gregg Zuan.” OH, LOL! Relax Baltimore; we’ve been waiting for our power-hitting catcher! He’s just a few years older than what we expected. And by a few years, I mean 64. But he did have 4 more RBI than Matt Wieters Sunday. ... Read More »
Normally I like to recap the Weekends on Sunday nights; but there’s been so much stuff happening over the last two days that I have to take a step back and try to wrap up my thoughts. 8:14-That will do it. Scott breaks one of to the 20 yard line; and Ralph will get the Gatorade shower. Maryland will win 42-35 and will finish the season at 8-5. Certainly not the final record they had hoped for; but a nice way to finish an up and down season. Nevada will finish the ... Read More »
7:15-Unfortunately; Ralph cannot sit back at the end of the season and say that he thinks this Maryland team is close to being ACC competitive as-is. He will need to make a significant move at the end of the season; and that move will likely be to fire Defensive Coordinator Chris Cosh. I don’t blame ... Read More »
