Glenn's Bio
When Pop-a-Shot basketball becomes an Olympic sport, Glenn Clark will win the gold, silver AND bronze. In the meantime, he's continuing his career as a Baltimore sports media person. We say "person" because he has too many jobs to describe them all right now. You hear him on "The Comcast Morning Show" & talking about the Ravens throughout the day on WNST. You read his columns on WNST.net, and if you're a female you've been awkwardly hit on by him at least once. If not, he says you should give him a call. He's been accused of being the adopted son of Gary Williams, and will fight you if you don't think Roberto Alomar belongs in the Hall of Fame. He prefers lacrosse to baseball, Robert Randolph to Led Zeppelin, Blue Moon to red wine, and Chick-Fil-A to anything.

A couple of things I was told by a member of the Ravens organization yesterday regarding their decision to keep Steve Hauschka… -They are very pleased with Steve in kickoffs. Even when he hasn’t gotten the best distance, they’ve been happy with the hang time he’s given them to allow their coverage unit to get downfield ... Read More »
The Maryland basketball season doesn’t TECHNICALLY tip off until next Friday against Charleston Southern; but even an exhibition game tonight has me salivating. I LOVE College Hoops. And for the first time in a few years, I have a real genuine excitement about the long-term potential for this Maryland team. Here’s my thought process…. As far ... Read More »
The invitation is out there. If John Turner would like to come on with us (or just respond personally to my follow-up email) regarding our questions about his statements regarding Debbie Yow, I’d be happy to rescind my statements regarding him. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, I invite you to head over ... Read More »
Tuesday Top 7:7-Brandon McKinney (me)/Terrell Suggs (Drew) I think McKinney’s pick SHOULD have been a major difference in the game. Drew thinks the Ravens HAVE to figure out a way to pay “T-Sizzle.” 6-Ray Lewis (me)/Fabian Washington (Drew) I think 52’s sack was a significant ‘momentum’ play when it happened. Drew says the Ravens’ game plan changed when ... Read More »
Tuesday Top 7…. 7-Lorenzo Neal Call him Carlos Marmol; cause he’s setting up “The Closer”. How great was that last drive? 6-Fabian Washington Could have had a couple picks on Sunday, instead he settled for being a shutdown corner. And he’s been doing it for a few weeks. 5-Derrick Mason If you call that pass in that situation, it had BETTER ... Read More »
Tuesday Top 7…… 7-Todd Heap That part of the field is not an easy place to score from; because the back line becomes another defender. It was an important TD; and it is good to have Todd back as an offensive target. 6-Jared Gaither Just another good game from a tackle who maybe is deserving of Pro Bowl consideration. 5-Jarret ... Jimmy Patsos knew what he was doing last night when he decided to double Stephon Curry. That’s a special player and a special circumstance. He won’t do it again this season; even though there are more talented players on his schedule. The story is that Stephon Curry really didn’t care that he was taken out of ... Read More »
The one advantage John Harbaugh should bring to the Ravens Sunday as a former Eagles assistant is that he should have an idea of the tendencies Andy Reid and his staff have. Whereas the Eagles might not know what Rex Ryan or Cam Cameron could be thinking, John Harbaugh should have an idea of what ... Read More »
Should the junk plays stay?Maybe. I mentioned Monday and Tuesday that I REALLY don’t know if the “Wildcat” or “Suggs Package” plays would work against good teams. But I ALSO don’t know if this offense is capable of beating anyone without using such tactics. The hope is that simply by introducing the plays as an option; the ... Read More »
I accepted the other day that the assessment of Brian Billick as an “offensive genius” who can’t coach an offense is finally, absolutely, 100 percent correct. I do not yet know if the assessment of Marvin Lewis as a “defensive genius” who can’t coach a defense is true or not. I think that one of ... Read More »
