Predicting Ravens 2015 Won-Loss Record

April 21, 2015 | Dennis Koulatsos

@ Broncos – It’s not going to be easy. The thin air, Peyton Manning , the Broncos’ home opener. And who can forget the 7 TDs that Manning dropped on the Ravens just a few years ago.  I’ll take Harbaugh over Kubiak in this one.  To me Kubiak is Norv Turner 2.0 – good offensive coordinator, mediocre coach.  Playoff record 2-2. WIN

@Raiders – Don’t think that Derek Carr is ready for prime time yet – but he’s close.  Still a poorly run organization. I’ll be a believer if and when they start winning consistently. WIN

vs. Bengals – Andy Dalton and Company return to M&T Bank Stadium.  Stop the run and make Dalton beat you. Marvin Lewis knows how to beat Joe Flacco, and that worries me. WIN

@ Steelers – Hatfields and McCoys. Woodshed game.  Big boy game.  Pitt gets Le’Veon Bell back for this one, and he is the difference. LOSS

vs. Browns – Arguably the worst most dysfunctional franchise in the NFL. WIN

@ 49ers – They seem to be in disarray after a tumultuous offseason. Unproved head coach Jim Tomsula and Kaepernick trade rumors don’t help. WIN

@ Cardinals – If Carson Palmer is healthy it’s going to be very difficult to knock off the Redbirds in their own stadium. LOSS
vs. Chargers – Ravens are going to win this one no matter who is under center. WIN

vs. Jaguars – If this game was in Jacksonville it would worry me – but it’s not. WIN

vs. Rams – Trap game here and Rams’ d-line second to none. Jeff Fischer hasn’t done anything special in years, and the Rams will go as far as their QB will take them. WIN

@ Browns – They always play the Ravens tough, and with good QB play, can steal one from the Ravens here. LOSS

@Dolphins – Their coach Philbin is horrible. He may be unemployed by the time the Ravens roll into town. WIN

vs. Seahawks – Great measuring stick late in the season for the Ravens. If they can stop/contain Marshawn Lynch – they’ll win.  WIN

vs. Chiefs – John Harbaugh vs. Andy Reid. The student beats the teacher here. WIN

vs. Steelers – Home cooking is always good when you’re playing the Steelers. This one’s probably for the division title. WIN

@ Bengals – Ravens have finished their last 5 out of 6 seasons playing the Bengals in the last game, on the road. Still not a believer in Andy Dalton, but if Bengals have something to play for at this stage of the season, they could win. LOSS

I have the Ravens going 12-4, and getting a home playoff game in the process!
