Four days after questioning Joe Flacco’s passion for football, former Ravens middle linebacker Ray Lewis issued an apology video via his official Twitter account.
“It wasn’t even personal,” Lewis said on Monday morning. “It was just me being frustrated watching something that I had control over for so many years.”

Flacco took the high road when asked about Lewis’ comments on Friday, only expressing surprise at the source of the criticism while stating it’s not a message he hasn’t heard before.
The Super Bowl XLVII Most Valuable Player completed 23 of 35 passes for 269 yards and a touchdown in Baltimore’s 27-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
