The Baltimore Ravens activated tight end Darren Waller from the commissioner exempt list to the 53-man roster, general manager and executive vice president Ozzie Newsome announced Saturday.

In his second NFL season, Waller has played in six career games, posting two receptions for 18 yards and registering three special teams tackles.

The Ravens had an open spot on their active roster after tight end Maxx Williams was placed on injured reserve Friday.
