Billick & Ray Lewis

November 07, 2007 | WNST Interns

The coach has to go. I’ve been hearing a lot of that on the WNST airwaves lately. I’m not a Brian Billick backer but, here are a few things that I have questions about:

Is it Billick’s fault that the O-line can’t block anyone? Is it Billick’s fault that the QB can’t play anymore? Is it Billick’s fault that the corners can’t cover anyone? Is it Billick’s fault that the team had four turnovers?

A caller said it best yesterday, if you get a flat tire, do you get rid of the car?

I’m sick of Ray Lewis, too. Ray sounds like a baby every time the Ravens lose. Ray needs to take a look in the mirror. Ray, you guys are down 30 points and you are dancing after you make a tackle. Ray, Big Ben threw five TDs in the first half on your defense and you said that Willie Parker didn’t run on you. Really, Ray?

Then when someone calls your show and asks you a question about something you said, you tell them that is over with and you don’t want to talk about it.

Isn’t Ray the one that left the team a few years back in the middle of the season? He was too hurt to stand on the Ravens sideline but was on the sideline of a college football game. That didn’t fly very well with many of Ray’s teammates.

I am beginning to think AD’s comments were dead on.

What’s up with Steve McNair? Steve did a nice job for the Ravens last year. He led the team to a 13-3 record and now he looks like he doesn’t have much left in his tank. Is he hurt? Has the injuries caught up with him?
