The folks at Al’s Seafood have been friends & partners of ours at WNST for a very long time. Chad Strzegowski, who owns and operates Al’s Seafood, caught up with Nestor to discuss how they are handling business during these unprecedented times. True to his family’s reputation, Chad is doing everything possible to keep things as normal as possible for their customers.
“We got lucky to a certain extent because we do have the carryout and liquor store,” Strzegowski said. “We deliver, we’re offering curbside service, we partner with Grubhub and Doordash to get it out to people who are stuck in the house. Catering jobs are cancelled and we can’t have the restaurant open, it hurts a lot to an extent if you have to lay employees off during this time. The main concern is that everyone stays healthy. It affects everyone business wise and we’re trying to keep on chugging and making sure we can make it easy on the public in our area.”
Customers can continue to order their favorite food from Al’s Seafood and pick it up without leaving their car.
“If you call ahead and tell us your car and name, we’ll run food out to you, we’re taking every precaution with wiping stuff down, using disinfectant, and keeping everything as clean as possible,” Strzegowski said.
We encourage all of our listeners to continue to support our WNST sponsors and local businesses such as Al’s Seafood!
