Free fights on Spike TV tonight

If you can’t afford or don’t want to spend the money for the Floyd Mayweather versus Ricky Hatton fight tonight, then I have a great and free alternative for you.
Tonight on Spike TV the finals of the mixed martial arts show The Ultimate Fighter will air at 9 p.m. Tommy Speer will face Mac Danzig for a contract worth six figures with the UFC and all the endorsements that come along with it. Several of the other fighters that were on the show but lost will also fight. Many of the fighters appeared on the Rob Long Show on Thursday’s with John Rallo for the MMA segment, one of the fighters that is fighting that may or may not make it onto tonight’s broadcast is Dorian Prince who is originally from Baltimore. So the final fight will be very entertaining.
However that will not be the best fight of the night in my opinion. In the main event Roger “El Matador” Huerta (21-1) will square off against Clay “The Carpenter” Guida. Both of these guys are two of the new young bright stars in the UFC and two guys who enjoy standing toe to toe with one another and trading punches, kicks, and submissions. Guida is an interesting guy to watch, he has this wild man look about him and his like some kind of wild animal let out of a cage when he enters the octagon. Huerta is a very patient fighter who waits for that one split second to pressure you, and then he is relentless. I could see this being a draw, and not be surprised if either one won, but I am going to pick Huerta. This could be the fight of the year.
Also tonight will be the end of one of the faces that has been with the UFC since UFC 2, referee Big John McCarthy will referee his last match for the UFC. John is leaving the UFC to join The Fight Network as an analyst. John was a guest a couple months back on the Rob Long Show with me, Rob, and John Rallo.
Hope to hear from those of you that watch the fight’s tonight.
