From 1 Winning Drive: Mike Anderson,Kyle Boller, and some Ravens stats

September 07, 2007 | WNST Staff

Mike Anderson was not at practice today, due to what Brian Billick said was a “personal reason.” Mike is expected to be back and with the team when they leave for the game on Monday night.
Kyle Boller talked with the media after practice about his new extension with the team and then I had a few minutes 1 on 1 with Kyle. Kyle and I discussed the new deal, Byron Leftwich, and the decision to come back here. That audio can be heard via the audio vault on the website.
The Ravens are the only team since 2000 to have posted 2 shutouts in week 1 of the season, (2000 16-0 over Pittsburgh, 2006 27-0 @ Tampa Bay). Since 2000 in 7 games the Ravens allowed just 249.7 total yards and have given up just 13.4 points per game.
The Ravens will practice tomorrow before they head out on Sunday afternoon to Cincinnati to play the Bengals on Monday night.
