Keep Rob Long in your thoughts and prayers tonight

September 22, 2007 | WNST Staff

I would like to pass along my condolences to Rob Long and his South Carolina Gamecocks, after the 28-16 loss to the #2 ranked team in the country, the LSU Tigers.
A memorial fund has been established for Mr. Long and the Gamecocks. All money collected will be sent to the school so they may be able to buy some better football players, in case they thing they are ready to play with an elite college football team. A portion of the funds will also be sent to Steve Stupidier so that he may upgrade his Nintendo 64 play calling to at least a Playstation 1.
All donations can be sent to:

Hey Steve, way to kick a field goal on 4th&1 when you are trailing by 21 in the 3rd quarter.
If you wish to pass along well wishes email Mr. Long at Please allow 2-3 days for a reply, as he is mourning at this time and may not feel up to responding.
One of the best plays of the college season so far has to go to the LSU special teams unit who on a fake field goal, tossed a no look over the shoulder pass to the kicker who runs in for a touchdown. The best part of that play was the LSU radio call and the play by play guy who say’s,” how about that old ball coach.”
Rob, we support you and understand what you are going through right now….actually no we don’t.
