Our good friend and WNST partner Keith Miller of Strategic Factory joined Nestor to discuss live amidst this coronavirus pandemic. Most businesses are in some sort of distress or crisis management right now, and Strategic Factory is no different.
“In our wildest dreams we never would have envisioned having to deal with this,” Miller said. “We’re dealing with the health side which is crucial to make sure everybody is healthy and safe. Then you deal with the economic side which is unimaginable, our business has dropped by 85% since this started. We’ve unfortunately had to furlough 85 or 86 people to date.”
This crisis had had such a big impact on both employees and business owners alike, and Keith Miller unfortunately is dealing with both sides of the equation.
“The economic impact of this is going to be devastating, and if we cannot control them to a manageable level, we will not reopen – which would put 150 people out of jobs,” Miller said. “So we’re doing everything we can do preserve our cash flow and manage through this crisis. We don’t know when it’s going to turn around which is the most frustrating part. There is just no certainty, and we’re trying to be as transparent as we can with our employees and everyone on our team.”
Even during these uncertain times, Keith is doing everything he can to keep business moving forward and employ as many local people as possible.
“We do everything for marketing, branding, and communications,” Miller said. “We’re doing our best to just support our customers and make sure they get what they need. We’re trying our best to be there for the community at large and see how we can help. We’ve been doing a lot of stuff corona related but it is few and far between. It’s a challenge in this environment.”
Keith Miller has been a long-time friend and partner of WNST. Strategic Factory is a great local company and we ask anyone with any marketing, branding, or communication needs to reach out to Keith and give him and his team the opportunity to earn your business. We will all get through this together!
