“With everything that is so unknown, it’s nice that we are still available over the phone, through text or email, still the same hours,” Brown said. “We’re still here, it’s just a different way of doing business. Were not going to be face to face at all, but we’re still here if anything were to happen, if there was a car accident or anything like that.”
This coronavirus pandemic has presented new challenges and options for many of Mimi’s customers.
“One big question is always what to do if I can’t make my payment, because you are required to have insurance in Maryland,” Brown said. “We’re working with some customers through that, helping to defer payments and push them off for a bit or spread them across a couple bills with everything going on.”
“So many people have insurance and they aren’t really sure what their coverages are. ‘What are my coverages, could we possibly change or tweak them for the current situation that I’m in?’ It’s important to be able to educate our customers and go through what they are paying for, what peace of mind they’re paying for, so they can make the best decisions for their families.”
We highly recommend you reach out to Mimi Brown and her team for any insurance needs or questions you may have. We at WNST believe that it’s important having an insurance agent who is local, accessible, and always a text or phone call away.
