April 14, 2020 | WNST Audio

Patrick Russell of Koopers Tavern caught up with Nestor and updated us on the state of his business during this coronavirus pandemic. While Patrick has had to adjust to the statewide shutdown, he is still finding ways to serve the local community.

“We’ve been busy,” Russell said. “I’ve had two trucks in operation, we’ve got one at Koopers North and one in Fells Point, and everyday we are delivering burgers to different hospitals, all these different folks all around the city and country. It’s been unbelievable.”

Patrick would continue to share some background on how Koopers came to exist (including the name) and how his ventures have evolved over time to include food trucks and more.
