Ray Lewis almost had a new caree

June 10, 2007 | WNST Staff

First I want to thank Geoff, who sent me an email about this, I greatly appreciate it.
So Ray Lewis and Frank Wycheck had some confrontations in the NFL, the Ravens – Titans games where some of the hardest hitting games each year they played. There was legit bad blood between these guys. Ask Wycheck,  Eddie George, Steve McNair, Derrick Mason, Samari Rolle, and the list goes on and on.
Well Ray Lewis and Frank Wycheck almost had another run in, except this time it would have been in TNA Wrestling.
According to Wrestleview.com, TNA was in negotiations with the Ravens star linebacker to come in to TNA and have a match against Frank Wycheck. Here is the link to the story. It seems uncertain whether the hold up was with negotiations with Ray or the NFL or with the Ravens.
I have emailed Frank Wycheck about this. Frank is a regular guest on WNST when the Titans are being discussed, and a very good guest. Hope Frank will get back to me.
I will try to talk to Ray about this during media day this week at Ravens OTA.
Now TNA has had professional athletes in there PPV’s before, and it has gotten them a lot of exposure on ESPN, Sports Illustrated, etc.
What would Ray’s finishing move have been?
