Baltimore’s Best? Well, at least Smalltimore’s BEST showed up …

Tonight, the area around The Power Plant Live gave host to the annual "Baltimore’s Best" celebration party. It was a virtual who’s who, of those selected this year, those who have been selected previously, and those who were there just to support the Family Tree organization. The Family Tree is the largest non-profit dedicated to providing services to prevent child abuse.

Spotted in the crowd were Radcliffe Jewelers owner Paul Winicki, WBAL-TV general manager Jordan Wortleib with new gal in town — WBAL’s resident controller Sue Nunez, who is a recent transplant from Oregon. WNST’s fearless leaders — Nestor and his lovely wife Jen — caught up with public relations guru Edie Brown. Ravens former punter Kyle "The Cutie" Richardson was also there supporting the cause.

Now sports fans, don’t think that this is all a warm and fuzzy blog. I am a good ole Bawlamer girl, who loves her hometown and its’ sports teams. But, please let me know if you (the listeners) have an event/fundraiser coming up.

Until later
